A professor Franics Kamm (Harvard) foi escolhida como conferencista convidada das prestigiosas Tanner Lectures on Human Values. Kamm ficou célebre por sua análise de problemas éticos por meio de experimentos mentais. O tema de sua Tanner é justamente um desses "experimento" célebres: o "problema do bonde". Quais escolhas seriam eticamente justificáveis diante de um desastre iminente? Em especial, Kamm procura entender quais são as estruturas normativas por trás de nossos juízos morais em casos dilemáticos.
